interesting facts 
The Chinese celebrate every February the Chinese new year festival because they thought that with their dancing's and rituals they could keep of the bad spirits and they could have good luck in all the year. The Chinese use the lunar calendar and with it twelve animals that represent the emperors of the different dynasties, those emperors helped on the fertility, good luck, etc.

As they use the lunar calendar their year have more days and started on February, so the festival begins starting February and one week later it finishes. They use dragon suits because the dragon means good luck and communications with the gods. In those days they eat their typical food like: rice, pan de frijol,  and caramel with animal figures also fideos and green tea.
